Hosts José and Christine Rosario

Welcome, local and international visitors, to our lovingly restored and renovated farmhouse “by the side of the road,” complete with red barn and outbuildings. Educators by profession, José is bilingual in Spanish/English and Christine knows some German. We acquired the Wyncoop farmstead in 1991, opened Bluestem in 2008, and continue to work on the grounds, which include an organic vegetable garden, walking trails through the property, native grasses, and perennial gardens. We invite you to enjoy them all and share your knowledge.

We also invite you to visit Willow Run Farm in south central Indiana, where our son and his family breed and raise beautiful and gentle Irish Connemara ponies-great for learning to ride.

We are proud members of the Indiana Bed and Breakfast Association, Northern Indiana's Art and Earth Trail, Slow Food USA, People Engaged in Preservation, La Porte Historical Society, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, and a partner with the LaPorte County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
